CQI is looking to hire a person to lead and coordinate its research and evaluation training projects.  The person hired for this position will have a role in the development of a rapidly growing non-profit organization. This person will also be involved with the continuing development of our program evaluation methodologies and practices.  The Director of Training will work closely with the rest of CQI staff, especially the Executive Director.

Responsibilities include:

·         Managing all aspects of research/evaluation workshops, and training programs;   

·         Curriculum development; 

·         In conjunction with Executive Director, developing project proposals for government,  foundations, and other funders

·         Assisting with collaborations with other academic institutions and developing new partnerships for promoting courses

·         Participating in and leading research and evaluation projects

·         Marketing of publications in conjunction with workshop and/or course offerings

·         Event coordination 

Qualifications:

• The ability to work collaboratively;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Strong organizational skills;
• Proficiency  with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; graphic design software experience preferred;
• A masters degree or the equivalent (or in such a program)
• Experience conducting trainings and/or teaching experience;
• Interest in promoting the collective voice of consumers and family members;
• Living with or in recovery from a mental illness; or having been a person in the life of someone with a mental illness;
• Reliable transportation.

This Director of Training will report directly to the Executive Director.  Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.  CQI provides health and dental insurance, Short Term Disability, retirement benefits, and paid vacation, sick time and holidays.
